Intersectionality was born within systems of oppression & political theory, but manages to function organically in the world of design. By recognizing how the crossroads of identity influence the artist’s work, the evolution of intersectionality as an expressive method becomes more apparent. Both within its origin & out of it, intersectionality becomes a medium & motive through which designers approach their work. By highlighting a handful of artists whose work reflects their identity, Find Me At The Crossroads serves as an exhibition of the relevance & application of intersectionality within everyday contexts.
